 Baker Beans

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 2 cups of Baked Beans

  • 1/2 diced onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 4 slices of bacon

  • 4 oz of butter

DIRECTIONS:

1. Dice the bacon and sauté until the bacon starts to crisp. Add the diced onions and continue to cook on low heat until the onions caramelize.

2. Heat the beans slowly until they reach a simmer.  Sauté the chopped garlic in the butter for 1 minute. Combine the beans, garlic, butter and bacon and slowly simmer for a further 45 minutes.
